Don’t Use Elastics

If you regularly tie your hair up with a hair elastic then switching to an Invisibobble or a scrunchie will help to reduce the damage. Elastics can be too tight on your strands and can cause breakage, especially around your hairline or at the base of your ponytail. You might also want to skip the high ponytails in favor of low ones a few times a week to avoid putting too much stress on your hair.
